TIP of Linn County will need a total of 15 volunteers before classes can be held. If you are interested in becoming a TIP volunteer, please contact us to reserve your spot.

TIP Training Academies are held annually. Using their personal TIP experiences, their training skills and expertise, TIP Nationally trained and certified trainers conduct a 2 week intense Emotional First Aid and Practical Care Training. After completion volunteers are well prepared and ready to respond to 911 Emergency Calls with confidence and assurance.

TIP Volunteers continue to rely upon the skills and techniques learned during the Training Academy not only during a “TIP Call” but throughout the rest of their daily life as well. TIP Training Academy alumni continue to express their appreciation for the opportunity to learn how to effectively and appropriately provide emotional support and practical care to another fellow human being during their time of distress.

If you are interested in becoming a TIP Volunteer, we would like to talk with you.
